Small tree 10 15 m tall. Leaves unifoliolate or 2-3-foliolate, 12.5-27 cm long. Flowers in clusters in axils of leaves, large, 5-6 cm across. Fruits 8-10 cm long, pear-shaped.
Ecology
Lowland forest, on stream banks, on ridge tops.
Distribution
1 species in genus, N Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak (Borneo).
