Small to medium-sized tree to 35 m tall. Leaves pinnately compound, 6-14 cm long with 2-4 pairs of leaflets. Flowers in terminal catkins, tiny. Fruits attached to a 3-lobed bract attached to a small globose nut.
Ecology
In primary evergreen lowland to hill and montane forests.
Distribution
India to Indo-China, Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo.
