Description

Evergreen woody shrub, occasionally a small tree. Leave opposite. Flowers in terminal clusters, pink fading to white with dark red throat, 3-5 cm long. Fruits fleshy drupes, 2.5 cm long.

Lowland forest.

Myanmar.

Uses

Cultivated for its attractive flowers.
